is an artist, writer, performer and televison host. She produced and hosted Lunch with Bokara, a thirteen part television series on LINK TV which brought together teachers of many spiritual disciplines. She hosted "Bobo in the Celebrity Room," a weekly television program in Palm Beach, and was the art critic for Newsroom on KQED in San Francisco. She produced Nine In the Morning a daily talk show on the CBS station in Washington D.C. and Tex MacCrary Time on WOR radio. In New York City she had a radio column on WNYC. She has reported for a variety of publications including The New York Times, the Charleston News and Courier and The North American News Alliance.
Bokara's paintings have been exhibited in New York City and San Francisco. She has written and performed autobiographical monologues which were produced in theaters on both coasts.
